Dr. Roy Stern Seidenberg is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in general and cosmetic dermatology. In addition to his private practice in Manhattan, Dr. Seidenberg is also an Attending Physician and Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the New York University School of Medicine, where he has been teaching dermatology residents every week for the past twenty years.

Dr. Seidenberg has achieved numerous honors and accolades. He has been named a Castle Connolly Top Doctor for over a decade and recognized by New York Magazine as one of the city’s Best Doctors, including in 2024. He has lectured at two Annual Meetings of the American Academy of Dermatology and has been awarded the NYU Dermatology Teaching Award. An engaging speaker, Dr. Seidenberg has given presentations to many academic and private institutions on topics ranging from Chemical Peels to Mindbody Dermatology. The author of numerous book chapters and journal articles, Dr. Seidenberg has provided skin cancer screenings to a wide range of institutions including numerous Fortune 500 companies.

Dr. Seidenberg completed extensive residency, chief residency, and fellowship training in dermatology through Montefiore Medical Center, Cooper Hospital/University Medical Center, and Boston University Medical Center.  A Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, Dr. Seidenberg earned his doctorate from New York Medical College. He completed his undergraduate degree from Emory University where he was a member of the pre-medical honor society and the Economics honor society. Although his practice is limited to Dermatology, Dr. Seidenberg was also Board Certified in Internal Medicine which affords him a greater medical background.

With more than twenty years of experience in the dermatology field, Dr. Seidenberg treats a wide range of dermatology conditions, whether your needs are medical or cosmetic in nature. He takes the time to offer every new patient a full skin examination. He explains all treatment options, and if needed, will refer you to a colleague. His training, experience and bedside manner puts patients at ease.

He explained everything simply and clearly to my fifteen year old, in a  way that she could understand.
