Perlane®
Perlane® is a filler that contains hyaluronic acid in the form of a crystal clear gel. It can be used to improve facial wrinkles, creases on the face and to enhance your lips. It is oftentimes used with Restylane® for optimum results and to meet the needs of our patients. The treatment is performed by injecting Perlane® is injected under your skin. These injections will lift and create volume in the areas treated. Topical anesthetics may be applied to the treated area prior to the injection to minimize discomfort.Is allergy testing necessary prior to Perlane ® treatment?
Since Perlane® contains no animal products, it can be administered
without the need for allergy testing.
What are the potential side effects of Perlane ® treatment?
Perlane® can cause redness and swelling, which may last for a few
hours and sometimes a few days. Some patients experience mild bruising
that can be covered with make-up.
When will I see results?
Results can be seen immediately.
How long with the results last?
Results vary from patient to patient and depend upon the area treated.
The results may last from three to six months.
