Wilfred Brown, MD, FACS is a double-board certified plastic surgeon who specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Wilfred Brown completed his medical training at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. He relocated to the United States in 1988 and completed an internship in Internal Medicine at the Jersey City Medical Center, followed by six years of General Surgery in the Yale University system. During his residency, he spent one year researching the viability of cryopreserved skin at the Yale University Skin Bank and Burn Unit. He completed his training with a two-year fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Pennsylvania State University. Throughout his training, he was published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and won numerous awards for his research. |
