Please join us in welcoming Julia Pettersen Neckman, M.D., who will be joining the Laser & Skin Surgery Center of New York for a one year Procedural Fellowship in Laser Surgery, Cosmetic Dermatology and Mohs Micrographic Surgery. Dr. Neckman graduated with a major in English from Duke University and earned her medical degree from Mount Sinai, where she was awarded a special distinction in research for her work at Rockefeller University and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Society.
Dr. Neckman completed her Dermatology Residency at Yale University Department of Dermatology, where she was Chief Resident. She has presented nationally on her research efforts studying the tumor microenvironment of non-melanoma skin cancer, and she has been published in peer reviewed journals including Journal of Investigative Dermatology and the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.
