The physicians and staff of the Laser & Skin Surgery Center of New York® presented a combined 17 times at this years annual American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS) conference, held in Kissimmee, FL, the most of any other practice or institution in attendance.
Drs. Geronemus and Brauer co-directed a session on “State of the Art in Tattoo Removal” and Dr. Geronemus co- directed a session on “Lasers for Vascular and Pigmented Lesions” and the Tech Connect session.
Under the direction of Drs. Bae and Geronemus two NYU dermatology residents Drs. Kanchanapoomi and Ng, received the award for best resident/fellow abstract.
Our nursing staff also gave three presentations – “Laser treatment of vascular lesions in children”, “Complications in laser surgery: How to avoid them and their management in dermatologic laser practice” and ” Laser Pearls from an active laser practice”.
