Dr. Shivani Reddy is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon specializing in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She takes an evidence-driven approach to patient care, tailoring treatments to each patient’s skin type and sensitivity, medical history, and personal goals. She has a particular interest in treating pigmentation concerns in skin of color, with an emphasis on safe, effective treatments.
With more than 4,000 surgical cases performed, Dr. Reddy brings extensive experience in Mohs surgery and facial reconstruction. She understands the emotional impact of a skin cancer diagnosis and the importance of compassionate care, complete cancer removal, and the preservation of natural appearance.
Her surgical experience and knowledge of facial anatomy shape her detail-oriented approach to cosmetic treatments, including scar revision. She believes in enhancing rather than altering a person’s natural features, emphasizing subtle, refined results.
Dr. Reddy received her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and completed her dermatology residency at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center. She subsequently completed advanced fellowship training in Mohs surgery and cosmetic dermatology at California Skin Institute. Before moving to New York City, she practiced in the Los Angeles area, providing medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatologic care.
