Mariah Messina, PA-C

ABOUT

Mariah Messina is a board-certified physician assistant who was born and raised in Suffolk County, New York. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology and mathematics from Loyola University Maryland before completing her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Touro College of Health Sciences. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA), the New York State Society of Physician Assistants (NYSSPA), and the Society of Dermatology Physician Associates (SDPA).

Before becoming a PA, Mariah worked in a general and vascular surgical practice, where she developed her skills and interest in in-office surgical procedures. She began her PA career in endocrinology with a focus on metabolic diseases, which gave her a strong foundation in managing hormone imbalances and emphasized the importance of patient education. During this time, she recognized how often dermatological symptoms can be linked to conditions such as thyroid disorders and hormone imbalances.

For the past four years, Mariah has worked exclusively in dermatology, where she gained extensive experience in medical dermatology. This role solidified her passion for the field and further refined her expertise in patient care across a wide range of skin conditions and treatments.

Mariah is excited to bring her background to her new role at the Laser & Skin Surgery Center of Southampton, where she looks forward to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to patients of all ages.

She is dedicated to building strong, trusting relationships with her patients and strives to create a supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and confident in their care. Her goal is to empower each patient through education, clear communication, and personalized treatment plans.
