Restylane Lyft
Restylane Lyft is a hyaluronic acid dermal filler used for volume restoration and facial contouring in the cheeks and midface. It is also used to restore youthful volume to the backs of the hands to minimize the appearance of protruding veins and wrinkles. The filler is injected into the dermal layers to restore volume and reduce signs of aging.

How does Restylane Lyft Work?
Restylane Lyft works deep into the dermal layers to restore support lost due to collagen depletion. Collagen is a protein found in the dermal structure that gives the skin its smooth, supple appearance. Over time, our bodies produce less collagen, leading to skin laxity and wrinkle formation. By restoring that support, Restylane Lyft restores fullness to the midface and hands to create a smoother, more youthful appearance.
Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance found in the body. It helps the dermal structure to retain moisture and volume. When hyaluronic acid is placed into the dermal structure, it produces smooth, natural-looking skin rejuvenation from the inside out.

Do Restylane Lyft Injections Hurt?
Restylane Lyft is administered using a very fine needle or a blunt-tipped cannula, depending on the treatment area and the amount of filler needed. Most filler patients near New York City find the procedure to be quick and relatively comfortable. If you are concerned about discomfort during treatment, talk to your doctor about the application of a topical numbing cream before your procedure begins.
When Will I See Results?
You will see improvement in your facial contours or the appearance of your hands immediately following your treatment. There may be some mild swelling or bruising around the injection sites that will interfere with your final result. But once the skin heals fully, which usually only takes a day or two, the full results become apparent and will last for 6-9 months in most patients.
How Long is the Recovery Time After Treatment?
After treatment, you should be able to resume your normal activities. There is minimal downtime and your dermatologist may give you specific aftercare instructions. Sometimes a bruise occurs because of the needle’s contact with the skin, so plan accordingly with your personal and professional obligations.
