Concern: Moderate inflammatory acne vulgaris of the face with at least 15 inflammatory lesions (papules and pustules) across the treatment area. Acne on the face consistent across the prior 6 months. Study Specifics: Looking for subjects at least 16 years of age or older with moderate inflammatory acne vulgaris of the face. Participants will be treated with a 1726 nm laser that targets sebaceous glands without injuring the skin. Our early data shows 90% efficacy at one year follow-up. Subjects agree to abstain from non-study acne treatments, other procedures affecting skin quality, and direct sun exposure. Subjects also agree to maintain their current non-medical facial skincare program, and their pre-study, non-acne medication schedule as is medically feasible. Compensation:Up to $1,700 per patient.
